Quality Assurance Leader, EMEA 100 % (f/m)

For our client, a global commercial-stage Oncology business with the operation, among others, in Switzerland, we are looking for a dynamic, flexible and self-reliant
Quality Assurance Leader, EMEA 100 % (f/m)
Your tasks
  • Responsible to manage successfully a team of 3-4 employees in Quality Assurance & Quality Control
  • Drive and influence together with the cross-functional teams the implementation of a consistent quality culture
  • Ensure local procedures and performance are consistent with company Quality objectives across the Region and Countries
  • Oversee all Quality Systems for receiving, inspection, warehousing, distribution, device repair, technical support and complaint handling for the European operation
  • Ensure continued alignment (global and local) requirements, strategies and planning
  • Perform internal quality process audit, including risk management and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
  • Support on necessary Quality training including new employee’s quality training and process maintenance training
  • Supervise the European Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams with increasing responsibility as the organization develops and the team grows
Your profile
  • Bachelor/Master of natural sciences or engineering
  • Solid track record (min. 4 years) in Quality Assurance on the area of Medical Devices
  • Familiar with Medical Device regulations such as ISO 13485, European Medical Device Directive, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and IEC 60601-1
  • Experience as a management representative and internal auditor
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes
  • High sense of confidentiality and ethics
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and good knowledge in German as an asset
