ENAC – LESO-PB - Opening for Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Urban Energy Systems

EPFL continues to strengthen its School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) by opening teaching and research positions endowed by the Swiss Confederation.

In order to conduct research addressing the issue of energy efficiency and use of renewable energy within buildings and districts, the Solar Energy and Building Physics Laboratory (LESO-PB) of EPFL is looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Urban Energy Systems.

Your profile :

  • PhD degree in Urban Physics or Building Science, or any other relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills and capabilities to conduct research in areas related to urban systems simulation and machine learning within energy efficient cities
  • Participation in undergraduate and graduate teaching
  • Initiative skills to create R&D projects taking part to national energy research programs
  • Several years of experience as group leader in the field of Urban Physics would be an asset
