The role of the Marketing Manager (Offline Awareness & Adoption), based in Philip Morris International, Lausanne Switzerland, will contribute to the development of PMI’s Reduced Risk Products (RRP) global marketing toolboxes for market deployment within one or several RRP product platforms. The role will generate awareness and conversion among Legal Adult Smokers (LAS) to RRP by: Focusing on key consumer conversion journey episodes and experience maps Developing global toolboxes to be used in offline channels that drive understanding, desire of IQOS and conversion from conventional cigarettes to IQOS Identifying gaps in the existing marketing toolbox and messages Guiding markets in relevant messages and offline channels for deployment. You will work closely with internal colleagues within Science & Innovation (Consumer Engagement and New Media, Retail Experience, Design and User Experience), Market Research/Consumer Insights, Digital Lab, Creative advertising agencies, PMI Region teams and markets while serving as the key point of contact within the wider Group on your assigned projects. In addition you will monitor progress against priorities and report to the Marketing and Management teams, while recommending adjustments where necessary. You must be able to lead projects and build brand consistency at a global level, while considering and prioritizing regions and local affiliate input. As a credible strategic partner for cross-functional teams, your strong leadership skills, the ability to learn and get up to speed quickly, robust planning skills (often in very ambiguous and fluid situations), excellent collaboration abilities, and strong communication skills, including the ability to share best practices will make this a success. Requirements Extensive strategic experience in either marketing, brand, portfolio or PR management Bachelor University degree in Business management/Marketing or relevant working experience An experienced networker, influencer and thought leader Fluency in English required, other languages a plus. Proven track record of managing complexity within a multinational company. Ability to devise a brand strategy across multiple consumer segments and project management skills. Strong business fundamentals: ability to learn and understand the category and the competition from a product, pricing, communication and portfolio strategy standpoint.
