Procurement Executive

We are looking to hire a Procurement Executive to be part of the Global Direct Materials Procurement Team for Philip Morris International Management S.A. The role will be based in our headquarters, Lausanne, Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide analytical support to the Category Manager in order to develop effective category strategies and implement all sourcing activities. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic Direct Materials Procurement organization to create, implement and manage global strategic category plans delivering both short and long term solutions and practices to reduce costs via competitive pricing, minimized risk and complexity, improved quality, and effective demand management policies. Key responsibilities: • Analyze historical spend, material input cost evolution and any other available industry data to support the development of the long-range category strategies • Prepare packages for Requests for Proposals, consolidate feedback from suppliers and benchmark proposals. Provide recommendations to the Category Manager • Manage overall price calculator and liaise with suppliers in ensuring accurate prices are negotiated and reflected • Ensure required information such as supplier data, contracts, price lists, etc. are accurately, completely and timely updated and shared with the relevant internal stakeholders • Ensure proper deployment of the productivity initiatives within the regions and report savings accordingly Skills required: • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent • Experience in Procurement or related functions (Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance) • Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Proficiency in written and spoken English WHY WORK FOR US?
