QA Engineer

QA Engineer

For our main office in Prague, Czech Republic, we are looking for a QA engineer experienced in Web based applications testing. We are a team of 7 people responsible for running and developing high performance services delivering content to over 400 million Avast clients. We also develop web based internal tools supporting our marketing and sales operations.

 

We are keen on automation, testing, code reviews, pair programming and mob programing. Our code is deployed continuously – therefore, we need a reliable test base.

 

What you will do:

  • Ensure quality through the whole lifecycle of our systems
  • Participate on analysis and system design
  • Identify options for test automation and develop automated tests together with the team
  • Assure correctness of implemented features
  • Create and improve our testing infrastructure
  • Cooperate with other teams

 

We need a hands-on experience with:

  • Test automation
  • UI testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress)
  • Unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Jest, ScalaTest, xUnit.NET)
  • Web debugging tools (e.g. Fiddler, Wireshark)

 

Desirable knowledge:

  • Web APIs testing
  • Programming principles
  • Active knowledge of English language
  • BDD principles and tools (e.g. Gherkin, Cucumber)
