Product Manager e-Solutions

Unilabs is an European company, leader in the profession of medical tests. Our prescribers are
doctors, public hospitals, private clinics and other medical laboratories. Our group, whose mission is to
help medical diagnostic analysis, is working to provide its partners with high quality services using the
latest technologies and to the expertise of its staff.

We are looking for a position based in Coppet or Dübendorf :

General Mission
Manage the on-going (day-to-day) maintenance and operation of the current e-Unilabs solution (online
prescription) as well as manage the transition of the Swiss organisation and its customers to a ‘Next
Generation’ e-Unilabs solution.
Person of contact and responsible for the “Next Generation” e-Unilabs project and will also be in charge of
thinking and developing new customer tools around the electronic platform.
Lead and manage a team of 2 E-Unilabs team members in charge of Customer Service and Training of
the E-Unilabs platform.

Specific assignments

  • On-going maintenance –supervising the everyday stability, operation and maintenance of the current
    e-Unilabs solution
  • Next generation planning & execution –expertly project manage the total implementation of a next
    generation e-Unilabs solution in Switzerland
  • Company-wide commitment to e-Unilabs –establish clear commitment from key stakeholders (sales,
    marketing, operations, IT, medical & finance) to plans
  • Development of future opportunities for our customers through our Next generation tool –Think, plan,
    implement, deliver new “products/services” on the market
  • Lead, manage, develop an E-solution team –in agreement with the marketing manager, lead a team of
    2 person around Switzerland (F, D, I)

Specific responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance & essential updating of the current e-Unilabs solution, ensuring stability and
    daily operation
  • Plan and implement the transition on our next generation platform and ensure that internal and external
    workflow are understood and running
  • Connect with customers (users) and clearly represent their needs & wants within the business today
    and in the future
  • Balance these needs and wants versus the priorities and resources of the organisation
  • Orchestrate activities with internal functional (operational, finance, sales, medical, customer service)
    stakeholders to ensure their full commitment and/or buy-in
  • Facilitate efficient, transparent and clear communication with all internal stakeholders
  • Support sales as well as finance in extracting the correct data for any remuneration information required
  • Develop business plans, budgets, dashboards and analysis to facilitate decision-making

Your Skills / Experience

Education and Experience

  • Biomedical Engineering degree or scientific higher education
  • An additional training in project management techniques
  • A successful experience 3 or more years in conducting projects (products and / or services) related to
    health. A Specialization in biological and / or diagnostic products is a clear advantage
  • A double culture (computing and scientific) if possible acquired in laboratories
  • A pronounced attraction for new technologies
  • Native French speaker, fluent in German and English (Native German speaker, fluent in French and
  • Clear leadership skills (enabling decisive decision-making), the ability to manage a small team of direct
    reports (allowing working towards clear objectives) and the know-how on how to create support and
    buy-in across the organisation.
  • Good in planning and organisation, able to rigorously manage large projects Involving different internal
    & external stakeholders
  • Knowledge on how to gather information and anticipate technical developments and analyse customer
