Regional Sales Director Switzerland, has responsibility for leading the sales function in Switzerland. They are Business Leaders in their own right with exceptional skills to lead sales people to companyâ?'s standards.Regional Sales Directors are the most Senior Client facing sales staff within the company who are required to plan, implement and deliver the Sales Strategy for the Region to ensure EMEA and Corporate Targets for Revenue, EBIT and People Leadership are met.Main Responsibilities The ability to deliver Regional Revenue and EBIT targets on a quarterly and annual basis Demonstrable ability to motivate sales people to achieve exceptional performance by coaching, mentoring and other appropriate interventions Develop and maintain top level contacts within client organisations, industry associations, press, government and other appropriate bodies. Continually improve Sales productivity by use of sales productivity tools and methodologies Understand key trends in the local market and positions company to profitably address appropriate opportunities Have sufficient presence and gravitas to command respect in the internal and external environment Understand the politics at senior level within clients and market sector Consummate ability to create business plans which demonstrates companyâ?'s understanding of issues and resolution of client business challenges Ability to secure motivate and deploy virtual technical and other resource to ensure clientsâ needs are satisfied during sales and installation cycle Accurately forecast revenues on a weekly monthly and quarterly basisKey CompetenciesProfessional Sales Skills:A proficient and creative, high level sales negotiator with outstanding relationship building abilities, who is fully conversant with professional sales techniques and forecasting.Foresight:Ability to see and identify customer needs by understanding trends in their business. Proven success at Senior Sales Director level in a US Based Software Company preferably in the Data Management Sector. Consummate people manager with a proven track record of leading sales teams and developing people to achieve their full potential. Adaptability and intellect to grow the business in Switzerland and anticipate/overcome challenges Ability to work in a matrix organisation and leverage advantages from it. First class presentation skills to represent company at appropriate events including Radio /TV and Conferences Fluent in German, French and English
