Our client is the Basel (Switzerland) based site of an independent, internationally active and
multidisciplinary consulting company operating in the Life Science industry (biopharma, pharma,
Diagnostics, medical products). They are providing individual services to their specific clients’ needs
in different areas, such as Clinical R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Market Access. For our client
we are searching for a

Bioinformatician (Senior Scientist)
Clinical Trial Management

In this newly created position you will be supporting the client company’s Neurology team
by providing expert advice in defining and setting up clinical trials specifically on the use of
electronic technology to collect clinical trial data in the areas Neurology, specifically Alzheimer’s
disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Chorea).

As an ideal candidate you have a PhD in Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology
or Medicine with an emphasis on Data Science/Biostatistics, 3 to 10 years of professional experience;
a proven track record in the use of electronic diagnostic tools in Neurological diseases, demonstrated
excellent scientific track record in processing and analyzing datasets, proven skills and experience in
defining, settingup and documenting clinical trials (clinical trial definition and statistical evaluation, use
of digital biomarkers in clinical trials, Neurology and motion analysis, sensor data analysis and
visualization, user knowledge MS Office, Matlab, Python or similar software packages/languages.
