Senior Technician
Responsibilities:
  • Practical realization of the development work (experiments, productions and tests) and documentation of the assigned project work in line with established procedures under the supervision of the scientist/teamleader (MBRs, SOPs) and regulations (cGMP, ICH)
  • Documentation of experiment/production and results according to procedures
  • Organization of the lab (GMP area)/ including safety and safety procedures and troubleshooting if needed
  • Evaluation of results/data in collaboration with the team leader
  • Responsible in writing of SOPs in close consultation with scientist / teamleader / process engineer
  • Execution of new techniques and assays
  • Reporting of quality issues of GMP processes to teamleader or deputy, as well as initiating changes and CPAs
  • Order of materials and equipment from the internal stock (facilities department) and material booking in SAP
  • Support Installation and Qualification of new equipment
  • Support of new techniques and technology, stay up to date on novel technologies related to the work area, maintain spirit of continuous improvement
  • Organization/supervision of sample distribution to analytics
  • Communication with internal and external parties for raw material supply as well as for purchasing and commissioning of new equipment
  • Awareness and continuous improvement of cGMP compliance, process excellence and process development aspects of CTM manufacturing
  • House-keeping of facilities and labs in accordance with cGMP
  • Chemical champion

Qualifications
Requirements:
Essential:
  • Technician or BSc degree in life sciences with several years of experience in GMP compliant biotechnological manufacturing or development
  • knowledge of USP or DSP technology, bacterial fermentation
  • Language skills: German spoken and written
  • Preferred: English spoken and written
