Senior Product Manager


Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement :

 Senior Product Manager



  • Responsible for Product Management efforts at Lombard Odier
  • Lead and manage the day to day responsibilities of the Product Management team
  • Deliver technical support around product solutions across all service levels (discretionary, advisory and execution only)
  • Ensure that new and existing products can be marketed and implemented across all jurisdictions were LO is present
  • Ensure that all existing products are properly characterized for all tax jurisdictions we operate in
  • Create an overall product roadmap for the offering to ensure timely delivery and implementation
  • Liaise with relevant back and front office teams to ensure marketability / implementation of products
  • Develop pricing and cost models for products to ensure that the new / existing offering is commercially attractive
  • Organize product specialist representation to senior business, product governance committees and bankers
  • Ensure that supporting literature and manuals are defined and developed
  • Offer market intelligence – outline what competitors offer are and how LO should to differentiate itself


  • University degree in Economics (Bachelor/Master)
  • Extensive experience (10 years) in product management within the private banking/ wealth management sector
  • Experience in defining, contributing to and implementing a product vision and strategy
  • Robust understanding of various asset classes within the context of product management
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of FIDLEG and MIFID and local regulatory requirements where LO is present
  • Ability to understand product tax treatments
  • Clear communication abilities across diverse audiences
  • Flexibility to be able to simultaneously work on various projects across different client groups (mainly internal and potentially external)
  • Ability to analyse, assimilate and rationalise large quantities of information
  • Ability to identify business opportunities relevant to the clients
  • Sound understanding of product / market / credit risks pertaining to clients
  • Effective team-player
  • Fluent in French and English
