Head of Supply Chain Development & Quality (80-100%)

In this exciting opportunity, we are looking for a talented individual to develop the supply chain towards a zero defect performance (failure rate <500ppm) and implement lean processes. Furthermore, we expect you to bring the supply chain to be best in class when it comes to logistic performance to achieve balanced inventory, short lead times and required time to market. If you can drive a cultural change within the supply chain and SCM organization towards zero defect, convince suppliers to conduct optimization workshops and apply lean principles along the entire value chain, then we are looking forward to getting to know you!

- Leading a team of specialists to drive the Supply Chain Development and Quality, in close cooperation with Global Category Managers (GCM) and the Procurement Department

- Drive the zero defect approach in the supply base, and within the SCM organisation in cooperation with the global and local SCM management teams, with the lean six sigma approach

- Drive and support the supply chain in the field of supply chain quality and development in the BU

- Analyze supplier quality performance and define supplier development projects and measures to bring the respective suppliers to the required quality level

- Drive process optimization towards suppliers and internal teams to reduce waste and increase the productivity within our organization

- Personally drive and implement quality-performance initiatives with selected suppliers to reduce failure rates and quality cost to the expected level with a lean six sigma approach.

- Drive the implementation of the PPAP-Smart process with our key suppliers, involving all the needed stake holders in the process in order to increase the first pass yield of new products

- Participate actively in the onboarding process of suppliers in cooperation with the GCM

- Define KPIs to monitor the performance improvement of the supply chain in all aspects

- University degree (ideally in Supply Chain Management or similar) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is a must
- Relevant experience in Sourcing, Production, Quality and Lean Management in a similar position
- Leadership and Change Management experience are crucial to be successful in this job
- Experienced in working within an international environment
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
- Global minded team player with strong execution and result capabilities combined with strong communication skills
