As the new Regional Sales Manager you will work in a dynamic and motivated team with diverse skills, experience and competence.

- Assume sales responsibility in allocated markets as well as responsibility for the business development

- Implement strategic planning in the sales area and include marketing concepts for new markets

- Provide support to local sales channels and partners in your market

- Carry out market reviews and provide market-related inputs to the Product Management and the division Research & Development

- Lead the acquisition of major projects

- Cooperate with other departments within the business unit to leverage synergy

- Elaborate strategies for system sales including product positioning (prices, sales channels, and promotion)

- Organize workshops and customer events as part of the sales promotion

- University degree in electronics, telecommunications, or engineering (ETH / HTL)
- Several years of experience in professional sales of telecommunication systems to utilities and industry
- Technical Know-how in the telecommunication systems technology
- Sound commercial competence
- Fluent in English and preferably also in German, both verbal and written
- Further language skills, such as French, is an advantage
- Result-oriented and highly motivated professional
- Strong sales and negotiation skills as well as tactical thinking
- High flexibility, adaptability, endurance, and perseverance
- Customer-focused and responsible team player with the ability to forge relationships
- Interpersonal and leadership skills as well as cultural sensitivity and openness to challenges
- Resourcefulness, creativity and the ability to make things happen
- Strong willingness to learn
- Willing to travel about 40% -50%
