SAP Functional Analyst Projects

We currently have an opening for a highly motivated Functional Analyst who will be responsible for performing key tasks in connection with SAP project system (SAP PS) in our ERP Center of Expertise. - Collaborate with IS Business Engagement Managers, Business Process Owners and other key stakeholders in order to determine input with regard to IS solution/services development, change requests, and releases

- Understand related business processes (i.e. in SAP SD, MM, PP, CO, FSCM) and apply knowledge to IS solution/services development, in addition to assisting with management and optimization of processes

- Translate requirements into specifications for internal and external delivery parties, in addition to maintaining blueprint and validating solutions prior to user acceptance test

- Keep up to date with (planned) changes to ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and ABB IS Strategy as well as incidents or projects that may impact existing services

- Provide leadership and support for delivery teams, share expert knowledge and advice, and maintain close dialogue with all stakeholders in support of culture of excellence

- Solid degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Engineering, or similar, complemented by at least three years’ IS experience
- Proven track record of analyzing business needs and translating specifications into IS capabilities and solutions, in addition to SAP project systems experience
- Completion of a minimum of two full life-cycle SAP implementations
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders, drive forward projects, identify and resolve issues between team members, and put forward well-conceived recommendations
- In-depth understanding of business processes and IS technologies within the overall context of operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and the ability to achieve consensus among stakeholders in various departments, areas of business, and geographical regions
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken, preferably complemented by additional foreign language skills
