Transport Management System Super User (80-100%)

Based in Baden, Switzerland, the Transport Management System (TMS/GTS/SAP) Super User will provide first-level support for end users at ABB. Assigned to the Transport Management Center team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that main processes and TMS-based processes run smoothly and efficiently. - Provide first-level support for end users, in addition to collecting, documenting, and structuring requests for TMS/GTS/SAP refinements and next-generation features

- Administer and update master data, e.g. users, transport tariff sheets, and routing entries, for the purpose of maintaining effective operations

- Handle configuration and generation of reports in support of informed decision-making and continuous improvement processes

- Identify potential issues relating to processes or set-up and analyze root causes, in addition to overseeing escalation to TMS/GTS/SAP Service Desk where required

- Exchange knowledge and best practices with peers, in addition to developing and conducting end user training together with other SMEs

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics (or similar), complemented by at least two years’ hands-on experience in transport operations, system implementation, or application management support
- Proficiency in use of GTS and/or TMS application (Oracle, JDA, SAP TM, etc.) advantageous; excellent understanding of database technology and MS Excel essential
- Keen sense of initiative, well-developed organizational skills, ability to work independently, and high degree of flexibility
- Finely honed analytical and problem-solving skills together with business acumen, customer focus, and a high level of commitment
- Excellent communication skills as well as a strong command of English, both written and spoken
