Technical Service Support Specialist-Exitation Systems

To strengthen our customer support and Service Product Management team, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who will ensure the timely technical support and relentless Service project execution to our global customers and the ABB service network. The position is targeting a communicative team player who is willing to resolve technical challenges in a dynamic and multinational environment.

- Technical coordination and development of the service products (i.e. control upgrade, performance review etc.)

- Technical assistance of sales and product management for the service products

- Leading resolution teams and handling the customer communication for support cases with a wider range, where different domain experts (i.e. System experts, R&D etc.) build a resolution team depending on the complexity of the issue

- Managing the active service contracts, including handling of the customer communication, SAP project booking and invoicing

- Executing projects for the process and operational continuous improvement

- Participation in ensuring 24/7 availability of remote supportline (3-4 weeks per year)

- Bachelor in Electrical Enginnering
- Field service experience in the area of power electronics or power plants with focus on excitation systems
- Strong communication and people skills
- Intrinsic attitude to drive innovation and improvement
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good command of English, German and/or other languages would be an advantage
