PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) is a fully managed, secure cloud that offers elasticity and flexibility with optional subscription based pricing, making it easy to access for companies. This new offering allows customers to run their SAP HANA applications in a managed cloud environment. It’s ideal for mission-critical applications such as SAP Business Suite, SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse and custom SAP HANA applications and can be used either for productive use, or as a project accelerator. HEC delivers the power of real-time in-memory technology with cloud simplicity. The SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Sales team focusses on taking this new offering to market delivering a world-class solution to customers and contributing to the overall Cloud success of SAP. Our primary focus is to drive HEC customer adoption and the associated Cloud revenues whilst accelerating the closing of HANA license revenues.

 

We are currently looking for energetic sales professionals to join a dynamic team which is determined to position SAP as THE Cloud Company. Be part of this exciting journey to extend SAP’s leadership in the Cloud space.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university
  • MBA or advanced degree in related discipline beneficial
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Confidence to deal with Executive level
  • True Hunter mentality with proven track record of overachieving target quota 
  • Strong experience in orchestrating across multiple internal BU's/departments
  • Sales of Cloud, Hosting, AMS, BPO, SaaS, IaaS or similar experience
  • Good understand of Technologies and IT Operations
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills as well as very good negotiation skills
  • Highly driven self-starter
  • Major results and execution focus
  • Drive to continuous learning
  • Willingness to travel

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years’ sales experience in direct sales (quota carrying), ideally in large organizations
  • Minimum 3+ years’ sales experiences in IT Infrastructure Hosting & Outsourcing
  • Minimum 3 years of SAP product application experience
  • Worked in large companies with matrix organization
  • Experience with complex sales and “big-ticket” deals
  • Value selling and solution selling experience
