Job Description

lastminute.com group is looking for a Senior HR Generalist who able to work independently, enjoys a hands-on approach and who can interface effectively with professionals at all levels. The Senior Hr Generalist will work closely with some areas of the business on a daily basis as well as in close collaboration with the other function of HR.

The role will be based in our Headquarter in Chiasso, Switzerland (Canton Ticino)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the operational HR plan for each business supported,

  • Manage all the recruitment process, identifying best method of sourcing candidates,

  • Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, employee engagement and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits and development activity,

  • Maintain good relationship with the Manager of the area of reference, well understanding the necessity of the business,

  • Support key HR projects and process improvements,

  • Ensure alignment of HR programs working with peers and colleagues in the other countries,

  • Provide input in terms of local employment legislation, policies and practices;

Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience as an HR business partner or HR Generalist in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

  • University degree in HR Management, Law or Economics

  • A team player, with strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in Italian and English
