lastminute.com group is looking for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist for its Hotel Meta marketing team based in Chiasso.
The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing, optimising and reporting PPC campaigns across more than 12 different markets.
Main responsibilities include identifying new ideas to drive growth/performance, deliver actionable insights on a daily/weekly basis, optimise accounts to target, management of roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery. As a Search Engine Marketing Specialist you will be expected to keep up to date with the latest search marketing developments in order to improve campaign performance and promote profitable growth.
To be considered, you must have experience within a similar role, you must be able to think analytically as you will be working with huge amounts of data with multiple reporting sources available at your disposal.
lastminute.com group is looking for ambitious, highly motivated individuals to join our Paid Search team to manage PPC campaigns. As Search Engine Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for delivering customer-focused, profitable campaigns to agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities will include
Trafficking, bid management and optimisation of multi-market PPC campaigns to agreed profitability targets
Assistance with planning, organisation, development and timely delivery of assets for the Hotel Meta Marketing team
Delivering performance reporting and insight to the PPC team
Addressing and escalating campaign performance issues
Adhering to PPC best practice at all times
Developing your own product knowledge as tools/products evolve/change
Assisting peers as a source of knowledge and guidance on PPC
Support internal knowledge share through training and coaching
Willing to learn new ideas and methods, readily accepting guidance, training (including Google AdWords Certification programme), coaching and feedback from others
Working also closely with IT team on creating, managing and developing tools to automate bids, landing page optimization, reporting.
Skills and Experience
Relevant subject degree in maths, ecommerce or digital marketing
Proven PPC experience
Advanced Excel skills
Good understanding of SQL to communicate with a database
Web analytics experience, e.g. SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Webtrends or Coremetrics
Fluency with one or more bid management tools (Adwords, Marin, DoubleClick, Kenshoo,…)
Ability to interpret and analyse large amounts of complex data from multiple sources
Proven experience with website tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager
Experience working in a metasearch / classified business is a plus
Programming skills in a general purpose language is a plus
