Givaudan as the global leader in the Flavour and Fragrance Industry has an open position for a Senior Patent Administrator. In this role you will provide proactive support to our internal team of Patent Attorneys.

  • Support Patent Attorneys in all aspects of patent formalities, from receipt of new invention disclosures, through prosecution, and the maintenance of our patents
  • Autonomously address administrative issues and formal requirements associated with filing, prosecuting and maintenance of patent rights, including on-line patent filing, examination procedure, and the granting of patents, as well as preparing assignments and other documentation related to filing and obtaining patent rights
  • Manage deadline tracking, docketing, database integrity, and portfolio management
  • Professional conduct of formal correspondence with law firms around the globe
  • Manage third party patent monitoring databases

Your professional profile includes:

  • Commercial degree, paralegal qualification is an asset
  • At least five years of experience in a (patent) law firm or a similar position
  • Capable of effectively prioritizing and delivering accurately and on time
  • Able to work proactively, independently with a self-starter attitude
  • Skilled in planning and tracking tasks
  • Flexible and efficient in working with MS Office programs, online filing programs and docketing system
  • Likes to work in a dynamic atmosphere
  • Fluent in English; other language skills are an asset
