Avaloq Functional Support Lead

"Permanent Role"

Main responsibilities :

The Avaloq Functional Support Lead is expected to be a key member of the team, and impact its performance positively in big ways.

Specifically, the key responsibilities revolve around:

  • Team management : ensure appropriate distribution of work, manage presences and deputies, …

  • Manage the relationship with business lines (Operations, Risk Management, Finance, Front-Office …) with respect to Avaloq support

  • Monitor and report on agreed support KPIs

  • Functional and application leadership on Avaloq: help the team step up its game in terms of Avaloq knowledge, and improve ability to answer at 2nd and 1st level without help from ASSL

  • Functional authority

  • Vendor Manager for AMS – be the Bank’s named Point of Contact for B-Source’s AMS service

  • RFx budget management and RFx committee lead

Typical KPIs :

  • Objectives will be set and monitored on a yearly basis. Broad goals that will serve as a basis for those objectives may include:

  • Improve user satisfaction

  • Lower the % of “tickets” where help from ASSL is sought

  • Increase the % of Core Banking “tickets” solved by the Service Desk (e.g. through better documentation of recurrent tasks)

  • Increase the % of RFx delivered internally

Skills :

  • Strong banking background, good knowledge of core banking processes

  • Strong Avaloq functional knowledge, at ease with Avaloq overall architecture

  • Solid communication skills

  • Structured and organized

  • Ability to conduct business in English
