Account Manager Specialist - SIP/SAYE

Job description and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day account operations for multinational corporate clients in the administration of their UK Share plans. The team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person who demonstrates potential and is ambitious to take on and manage new responsibilities. The candidate must have the ability to digest complexity, manage day-to-day operations, maintain good client relationships, be able to deliver a high level of service, possess an excellent attention to detail, be an expert with data & spreadsheets, and be committed to creating and adhering to error-free processes. The role entails a hands-on approach from project planning to operational and administrative processing.

 

Key tasks of this diverse and challenging role include:

  • Day-to-day plan and data maintenance on the administration platform (EquatePlus) for the assigned clients
  • Broad area of end-to-end responsibility for operational/administrative tasks, especially for UK SIP and SAYE plans
  • Administration of the lifecycle of UK SIP and SAYE plans on the EquatePlus platform
  • Executing UK SIP and SAYE processes error-free as per scheduled activity
  • Building a good working relationship with external key stakeholders in the administration of the plans such as the cash carrier, trustee and legacy plan administrator
  • Responding to employee enquiries in relation to the SIP and SAYE plans within the stipulated timeframe
  • Analysing clients’ plans and developing comprehensive solutions in close cooperation with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to set up system configuration and underlying processes.
  • Conducting presentations, leading client meetings and conference calls in the capacity as a specialist in the UK SIP and SAYE plan administration
  • Creating and maintaining client relationships spanning all relevant levels and areas within the client’s organisation
  • Project management; planning/processing and monitoring of company plan related events such as invitations, monthly processes, plan maturity, dividend and corporate actions

 

Qualifications, skills & knowledge:

  • Over 5 years of working experience in the Share Plans industry is an advantage
  • A Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education qualification
  • Strong knowledge in the operation, functionality and administration of UK SIP and SAYE plans
  • Proven track record in client facing roles and operations
  • A strong communicator able to build relationships and effectively convey ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • A good understanding of deferred compensations & benefits and share schemes is an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Experienced in MS Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
