What's the role?

Based on our current modern cordless impact wrenches designed for high performance in heavy-duty driving bolting applications, you’ll work with us to develop innovative features of the future. In a unique internship setup, you’ll gain insights both into development and marketing departments. Furthermore, you will gain a global understanding of regional differences in construction industry as well as an insight into corporate research within one of the most innovative companies within this industry.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department you’ll be part of both a development and marketing team researching innovative approaches for next generation cordless impact wrenches. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop new functions to generate additional benefits and increase performance.

Your key responsibilities will be to research and compile information such as standards/regulations, building practice, impact wrench technologies, or related patents. You’ll get your hands on the latest innovations in doing comparative lab testing of tools and technologies.

What you need is:
  • MSc level studies in civil engineering or a related discipline
  • Background in designing screwed joints in construction (e.g. steel construction) is a plus
  • Ability to research information systematically and put the result in a nutshell
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
