H ead of Marketing, Human Nutrition and Health (HNH), EMEA

The Challenge:

The challenges in this position:

  • Formulating and executing robust overarching EMEA marketing strategy to ensure delivery of short and mid-range financial targets as well as the long range strategic objectives related to the positioning of DNP as the recognized preeminent industry player
  • Champions innovation of the strategic product portfolio for the EMEA region, identifies and follows through to market strategic opportunities for the development of innovative additions to the global health and nutrition portfolio of straights and forms, managing in the process the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities including new business models
  • Accountable for the implementation of the Segment strategy
  • Pushing conversion and feeding of project funnel within the EMEA region, contributes to global market intelligence, maximizes value creation through customer- brand centric co-creation
  • Leading the establishment and execution of innovative business model strategies in the region, effectively identifies profitable market opportunities for direct involvement by DNP and direct

    engagement with consumers (B2C).

  • Leading channel partner development in the region, creates strong bonds with key business partner sales organizations such that all parties feel equally responsible for achieving our customer and strategic goals, establishes that compete for the added recognition and benefits that our partner program will provide
  • Leveraging of effective stakeholder nutrition science advocacy strategies with consumer groups, patient groups, health insurance institutes, regulators, and key opinion leaders. This includes direct and indirect, offensive and defensive communication strategies
  • Accountable for marketing costs and sales budget

You will be based in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.

 

The Position

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Formulates and executes overarching HNH EMEA Marketing and segment strategies to position HNH as preeminent industry leader and to achieve short/mid-range financial targets and long term strategic objectives.
  • Leads the development and execution of innovative business models in the region, identifies profitable market opportunities for direct involvement by HNH and engagement with consumers
  • Drives channel partner development and channel marketing strategies and leads the regional sales organisation to realise sales opportunities in all key growth areas through value marketing and solution selling approaches
  • Deliver targeted penetration in priority segments and markets through strategic customer engagement initiatives and drive nutrition health and science advocacy strategies with all stakeholders including consumer groups, regulators, key opinion leaders, health institutions etc
  • Develop and oversee the execution of the regional branding, communication / advocacy plan
  • Lead, manage, motivate and build a world class HNH marketing team. Builds compelling development plans for direct reports, sets high standards for success;
  • Leads adoption and regional development of sales and marketing tools (eg CRM)

 

The Ideal

  • Degree educated from a well respected institution in business or marketing. MBA or Postgraduate business studies preferred but not essential
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years in international Marketing and Account Management
  • At least 5 years in managing international high performance S&M organization
  • Ability to formulate and execute break-through strategy
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver results in a highly competitive and complex environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Exposure to different markets, countries and/or cultures preferred
  • Fluent in English
