Controlling Business Process Manager ATLAS - EMEA

University degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance/Accounting/Controlling alternatively with complementary studies in Information Systems Management.- More than 10 years in Finance (Accounting & Reporting and Controlling) in roles such as Controller - Good accounting back-ground - Experience in financial processes and ERP implementations on functional design - Knowledge of the agri-business sector1. Assist the Atlas re-platforming process from a Controlling perspective: Lead the design of new/enhanced functions in Atlas (from a Controlling perspective) taking the following goals into account: - Satisfaction of end users - Consideration of the impact on other regions and functions, in coordination with the other BPMs and the regional Business Analysts - Respect of the regulations and of the industry’s and Group’s best practices - Review the documentation of the functional specifications related to above items - Set the tests plan - Validate the tests done by regional BAs - Validate the NRT tests done on new releases - Organize the communication for the Finance teams 2. User support & training Conduct the training of new Finance end users and BAs in the region for the Financial functions. Act as first line support to the business in case of issue during project roll out and third line support post go-live 3. Process reengineering When assisting the business, identify any gaps between the current operating process and the Group standards, and implement the relevant change management process with the Controllers / Trading / Execution and Accounting Identify, formalize and deploy best practices in terms of Controlling process and Atlas usage 4. Supervise the country deployments of ATLAS as Controlling lead (role can be different in each country): Assist regional PMs/BAs during the gap analysis/workshops with the functional key users Be the ATLAS Core model keeper, supervise the documentation of the gaps between local requirements and Core model, and assign regional priorities Validate master data framework in project roll out phase, in mine with to ATLAS governance and Platform requirement on position and PL analysis Participate in data migration validation (and validate the data migration approach in case of deviation from the standard methodology) Support regional BAs on system testing and cut-over activities Liaise with the ATLAS Global team and Regional team (Accounting and Execution BPMs, PMs, BAs, Key users) to prepare & participate in meetings governing the project progress- Analytical skills - Strong ability to gather & analyze information, define problems and form a plan of action. - Exceptional organizational ability with a very strong attention to detail. - Must be able to work independently and take ownership of this role. - Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; - Successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated expertise in the areas of planning
