In our Headquarter in St-Prex/Lausanne (Switzerland), we are looking   for a:

Global Procurement Manager
Your mission:
Maximize value for the Ferring Group overall by providing efficient procurement solutions and deals through leveraging economies of scale, optimizing demand, optimizing processes and capturing supplier’s innovation. Main categories in scope : Legal Services, Consulting services, HR services.
Your main responsibilities:
  • Ensure engagement & management of relationship with stakeholders in areas of responsibility
  • Gather demand and spend information within supported Divisions to identify areas of savings
  • Develop procurement strategy to achieve the target of the supported Divisions at above country level. Implement the strategy at country level effectively
  • Provide a high level of purchasing service to supported functions and countries
  • Develop and maintain a culture of performance in the purchasing function in own area of responsibility, resulting in continuous improvement of supplier delivery of services, costs and customer service level
  • In-depth knowledge of the responsible spend category, understand the supplier market
  • Lead strategic sourcing projects in area of responsibility
  • Carry out supplier performance management and supplier relationship management for relevant suppliers
  • Analyse risks and set-up risk mitigation plan
  • Track and report cost reduction and cost avoidance in responsible category
  • Provide and ensure use of the right tools to continuously benchmark the market
Required Experience & Competences:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in procurement/ supply chain / business admin
  • Minimum 5 years’ experiences in procurement, and minimum 3 years in a global buyer position for indirect spend categories
  • Excellence in demand and supplier analysis leading to establishing procurement category strategy at global level
  • Excellence in implementing global category strategy at country level
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong inter personal and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated influencing skills through adequate assertiveness
  • Comprehensive understanding of purchasing processes and knowledge of best practices for sourcing, supplier management and purchase-to-pay
  • Experience of project management in a complex (multi-cultural / multi-functional) scope
